Scout Republic connects talented young athletes from South Africa with vetted scouts, coaches, and academies who can unlock their future — safely, and with full parental control.
A simple, safe process from registration to opportunity.
Create a free account, confirm your consent, and build your child's verified athlete profile in minutes — step by step.
Coaches, schools, and academies apply for verified access. We check their identity and organisation before granting entry. No approval, no access.
Approved scouts search, discover, and send contact requests — through the parent only. Your child's personal details are never shared directly.
More sports added in Phase 2 based on demand.
Thousands of gifted young athletes in rural and township schools never get seen by the scouts and coaches who could change their lives. The barriers are structural — not about talent.
Rural schools lack the networks and relationships that urban schools have with academies and scouts.
Parents want to help their child — but rightly fear putting a minor's information online unsafely.
Scouts travel to under-resourced areas without any data on potential talent. It's inefficient and incomplete.
Scout Republic creates a verified, safe channel between rural communities and the formal sports world.
They deserve to be seen. Registration is free, safe, and takes less than 10 minutes.
A clear, safe, step-by-step process for both families and sports professionals.
Your child's talent. Your control. Always.
Find the next generation of South African sporting talent — from every corner of the country.
Every applicant is reviewed by a human member of our team. We verify your identity and your organisational affiliation before granting any access. Any misuse of the platform — including attempting to contact children directly — results in immediate and permanent account revocation and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
The application takes about 10 minutes. We'll review it within 5 business days.
Child safety is not a feature.
It is the foundation of everything we do.
No athlete profile is ever visible without a logged-in, verified account. Your child cannot be found by searching Google.
No child's data is stored without the explicit, documented consent of their parent or guardian. Consent is versioned and logged.
We individually review and verify every scout, coach, and school representative before granting access.
Every profile view is logged. We know who saw what, when, and from which account. Parents can see this log.
Scouts can only contact parents or guardians. A child's contact details are never shared with any scout.
We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act in all data handling. Your data is never sold or shared.
Parents can request full deletion of their child's data at any time. We complete deletion within 30 days.
Any user can report a concern at any time. Reports are reviewed by a human within 24 hours. Action is taken immediately.
If you see something that doesn't feel right — inappropriate content, suspicious behaviour, or anything else — please report it immediately. All reports are reviewed by a human within 24 hours.
Every story here represents a child who was seen. A family whose trust was honoured.
"We live in a small village outside Tzaneen. My son has been playing football since he was five. His coach always said he was special, but we never knew how to get him noticed by the right people. A month after his profile went live on Scout Republic, we received a contact request from a football academy in Pretoria. He now trains with them every school holiday."
"Our daughter runs like the wind — everyone in our community knows it. But our school doesn't have a proper athletics programme. Her profile on Scout Republic was seen by a university athletics bursary coordinator who reached out to us. She's now on a partial bursary and running at provincial level."
"I was nervous about putting my son's information online. But the platform made me feel safe — I could see exactly who viewed his profile, and I controlled everything. A scout from a well-known rugby school contacted me professionally and respectfully. That's all I wanted."
"As a school sports coordinator, I was the one who told parents about Scout Republic. Three of our girls now have approved profiles. One of them was shortlisted by a provincial netball development programme within six weeks. We finally have a platform that treats our community with dignity."
Has Scout Republic made a difference for your family? We'd love to hear about it. With your permission, your story can inspire others to take the same step.
